So, it begins.

1. How were you first introduced to LotR/TH and was it love at first sight/read?

Ooo! Story time!

Well, a very long time ago, I saw The Hobbit on one of the bookshelves around the house, later that day, I asked my mom what a 'hobbit' was, she said it was kind-of like a dwarf, and left it at that.

Maybe a year or two later, Christian picked it up, and read it. He liked it okay, and went on to read the first few chapters of The Fellowship, but quickly dropped it.

A few years later, mom took Lyda, Christian, and I to see Brave, we saw a preview for An Unexpected Journey, and Christian decided that he really wanted to see it. Lydia, mom, and I adamantly declared that we wanted to see nothing of the sort. Dad took Christian to see AUJ, and that was the end of that.

But then, just at the beginning of 2014, I was encouraged to read The Hobbit by several of my co-op classmates. So I did. The first read, I was just trying to get through it. I read it again, then moved on to The Lord of The Rings. Like Christian, I read for a bit, but then dropped it. It was out of shear determination to finish the series before seeing the movies, that I picked it up again a few months later. I enjoyed it from then on.

2. If you could meet the actors who portray the characters in the movies, would you?

I would probably jump at the chance, but then chicken out right before meeting them.

3. What is your favorite credit song from LotR/TH?

I know that everyone's like "AHHH! The Last Goodbye, it's so my favorite!" I like it a bunch, don't get me wrong, but I've always had a special place for The Song of The Lonely Mountain, from AUJ.

4. The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit – which is your favorite? *evil laugh* (And no, you don’t actually have to decide. I’m merciful like that. *magnanimous smile*)

Well, I really do like both of them… In terms of staying close to the book, I'd go with Lord of The Rings. In terms of creativity, The Hobbit is pretty awesome. It's a draw.

5. Who is your favorite all-around character?

Of which trilogy? Of LoTR, Samwise Gamgee. Frodo wouldn't have got very far without him…

Of TH, Bilbo Baggins. I think he and I would get along very well. We both have a small yearning for adventure, but we are perfectly content to stay at home with a book and a cup of tea.

6. What is your opinion on Boromir?

It comes to this: I think he could have been a great man, if only he had not been infatuated with The Ring. Yes, yes, I know he was told to bring it back by his father, but I'm sure he knew his father was wrong to want The Ring. I was sad when he died, I almost cried.

7. How many times have you watched the movies/read the books?

I've read TH, what is it now? Three times? Yeah, we'll go with that. LoTR? Once all the way, The Fellowship, twice. I'm working on going through the series again, but taking a quick break.

8. What book is your favorite?

Right now, The Hobbit.

9. Who is your favorite female character (other than your answer to question #5)?

Éowyn. Who else?

10. Who is your favorite male character (other than your answer to question #5)?

Aragorn. Why not?

11. Which of the movies, in your opinion, has the best ending?

Definitely not Battle of The Five Armies! Ok, ok, The Return of The King. It ties up all the ends neatly in a bow.

Oh, that's all the questions?

Well, that was fun!

Now, I tag *scrolls down the list*:

Drumroll please,

And, last, but not least,

You are all free to feel disinclined to acquiesce to my request, if you so wish, but I would not recommend it. Those of you who want to, are free to commit an act of piracy and steal this tag. :D
