In Which Chloe Gets Back On Top Of Things

I promised weeks ago that I would do another "Movie Quotes" post. Unfortunately, life happened, therefore rendering me unable to do such a post until I remembered until now.

Without further ado, I guess I should go ahead and give the post to y'all before something terrible happens, like my pants catching fire because I waited too long.

The rules are quite simple, really. All you have to do is,
(1) Read each quote
(2) Enlighten us as to which movie it came from*
(3) Say who said it.*

1. “There is some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.”

2. "Masquerade, paper faces on parade. Masquerade, hide your face, and the world will never find you."

3. “Through a series of events, that had nothing to do with me….”

4. “It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!”

5. “Tell me…. Tell me….. Tell me….. OK, DON”T TELL ME!”

6. “And Daddy, they took my boot!”

7. "Angel of music, you deceived me. I gave my life blindly."

8. "If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world."

9. “Maboogey snickle snickle, toute suite.”

10. "And remember, if something chases you- run."

Have fun with that! Answers will be posted on the 8th.

*Comment moderation will be used, so don't freak out if your comment doesn't show up when you post it.

I was also tagged, or, more specifically, awarded a good long while ago a few days (maybe a week?) ago by Beth for the Liebster Award!
The Rules (can't have a game without them):

1. Answer the eleven questions of the tagger.
2. Share eleven facts about yourself.
3. Nominate up to eleven other bloggers.
4. Ask those nominees 11 new questions.

First, the questions (since I like doing things in order):

1. What is the best memory of 2015 you have so far?

Probably the Montana trip (that y'all have been hearing about) that Grampa, Dad, Christian, and I went on.

2. What book are you currently reading?

Books. The answer is plural. *figured I'd get asked this right when I'm reading one of the worst books ever*

Gullivers Travels, and The Brainy Bunch.

But, I'm about to start reading The Silmarillion. *Squeal* I've heard such good things about it.

3. Scissors or tape?

I'm guessing that you want to know which one I use more. Ummm. I'm pretty sure I use scissors more often.

4. What does the ideal weather forecast look like to you?

Hmm... Rainy in the morning, but cleared out by about 2pm, with a gorgeous sunset around 7:30pm. Highs in the low 80's and lows in the high 60's.

5. Is there anything you hate that almost everyone else loves?

Yes, a few things. Bananas, cheese, and bacon.

6. TV shows or movies?

Movies. Definitely. Though, there are a few tv shows I enjoy on occasion.

7. What's your favorite type of exercise?

Riding.

8. Would you like to live on a different continent than your current one, and if so, which one?

No, not really. I technically haven't ever been in a different continent before, so I don't know what to expect.

9. Soda can or plastic bottle?

Plastic bottle.

10. What do you think is the best perk of technology?

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Wifi is nice, you can do stuff. Being able to contact people, look things up, find things, and learn, is a huge blessing!

11. Do you have a favorite "vintage" movie?

Gone With The Wind.

The Eleven Facts (this may be tough):

1. I'd rather read than go to a social event.

2. I am a master with chopsticks.

3. I'm usually the one who cleans the kitchen after every meal (honestly, I have no idea how that worked out, it used to be divided up evenly).

4. I used to hate writing with a burning passion.

5. I share a slide phone with Christian (but he uses it the most). (It looks like THIS)

6. I'm taller than my Mom (by about half and inch).

7. I've been bitten and nipped by a horse (it was just a graze, but it still hurt) multiple times.

8. Despite being a Texan, I didn't get a pair of cowboy/girl boots until a few weeks ago.

9. I don't like spending money.

10. My TBR pile has too many books in it. "Wait, what? No it doesn't, a bookworm never has too many books to read." "Right now, sadly, this one does. And not all of them look particularly inviting."

11. There will never be a cup of tea big enough, or a book thick enough to satisfy me. (I probably shouldn't have put that after #10)

Now to nominate!

Actually, I saw this tag/award floating around a while back, so I'm going to leave this open. Anyone who wants to, can take it.

I would, however, enjoy hearing the answers to the questions I'm about to ask, so be a dear and comment the link when you've posted it. Pretty please?

The Questions:

1. Are you a dog-person, or a cat-person, or both?
2. Do you have a song stuck in your head right now? If so, what is it?
3. How big is your TBR pile? (TBR= To Be Read)
4. Do you like blogging?
5. If you could live in any time period, which would you choose?
6. Girly-girl, or t-shirt and jeans?
7. What are a few of your favorite books? (you can list ten, if you really really have to)
8. Do you have any pets?
9. Do you like to travel by plane?
10. What is your least-favorite food, and why?
11. When you're not reading/writing, what do you like to do in your spare time?

Thanks again Beth!

Now, because your's truly is terrible at ending posts (and because I want to start The Silmarillion and I kinda have to get ready for church soon...) I'm just going to stop here.

Like, right now.

Maybe not "right now" right now. Maybe in the next 45 seconds.

Will you please make up your mind?! I'm trying to end this gig...deal...thing.

My mind is made. I'm going to keep going.

No, you're going to stop. You said you would, and if you don't your pants will catch on fire.

I can buy another pair.

But you just said you don't like spending money.

Unnecessary spending, yes. But when I need to...

The laptop is about to be closed. All fingers, please evacuate from the keyboard.
