"Alice In Wonderland" Book Review

It was cute.

I'll start with that.

A little bit scatter-brained, maybe, but cute in it's own classic way.

Alice in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, follows the dream of little Alice. Wherein, she chases a mysterious white rabbit down its hole, has tea with a mad hatter and a March hare, learns bits of wisdom from the Cheshire Cat, hears the sad tale of the mock-turtle, and meets the queen of hearts.

It was a very quick read, it only took me a bit over an hour.

Although definitely geared towards younger children, it was assigned to me to read it for school, so what can I say?

It was enjoyable, the fact that it was short greatly pleased me, as I had been reading some rather heavy books.

The lighting was perfect for pictures when I finished it.

  2. I just read 'Alice' for the first time a few months ago. It was definitely more 'childish' then what I normally read, but hey, it's a classic. At first it didn't make much sense...until I got to the end and found out that it was all a dream. Then it made perfect sense!! I know all about crazy dreams!! I also read 'Through the Looking-Glass'.

    1. I definitely want to read "Through the Looking-glass," but it's not high on my TBR pile, and we don't own it. :/

Yeah, there are many books like that, only in some of them, they don't explain anything *cough cough*Fahrenheit 451" *cough*.

    1. I did, last school year, and the one before that! But due to our schedule, we were unable to do it this year. How did you know?

    2. Well first you recognized my Henle book, and Alice in Wonderland is a required CC book in Challenge II, so I though that's why you were reading it:)
