Sisterhood of the world bloggers award
Emmarayn, at Writing in Rivendell, has graciously awarded me the (see title)!
Now, those of you who have followed me for a while know that I nominated for this award a while back, however, since the questions are different this time, I'll be doing it again! (If any of y'all want to read about the first time, you can find it here)
Alrighty, let's get this show on the road!
1. If you were tossed into a fictional world, which genre would you want it to be? (In other words, which would you have the best chance at surviving?)
Not sure which one I'd be best at surviving in, but I do love fantasy (C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, and Anne Elisabeth Stengl type books, for example).
2. If you could three people with you to that world, who would you take?
Probably my younger brother, Christian, Lydia, and my grandfather.
3. If a stranger broke into your house, but didn't see you immediately, what would you do? (Assuming you didn't have a phone within arm's reach.)
Assuming that the locks didn't hold, I'd find my pocket knife, wait till he (or she) was fully occupied, sneak up behind him/her, and demand that they leave.
And, uh, if that didn't work, I'd do my best to have my fist make contact with his/her nose, then make a break for the closest door with a lock on the inside.
4. What would be the ideal way to meet your future husband, in your opinion?
At church.
5. If there's one character from a book/movie you would never want to find sitting in your living room, who would it be? (Leaving out the ones that are too big or abstract to sit in your living room- i.e. Sauron...)
At first, I was going put Gollem as the answer, but then I remembered that he died a long time ago, in Return of the King, so I'll go with the Joker.
6. I there is one character from a book/movie you would want to find sitting in your living room, who would it be?
Gandalf (quest, anyone?), or Aslan, or possibly Toothless, though I've heard that he isn't allowed inside.
7. If you could live one day of your life in the style of a television show, what genre would you pick? (Sitcom, comedy, romance, crime drama, etc)
Ummm.... I haven't really seen any of these, so I'll go with gut-impulse, comedy.
8. What character role would you take in the "episode?"
Again, I have no idea.
9. If someone were to compose a soundtrack for your life, who would you want it to be?
Oooh! I'd want Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, or John Williams, but my life (as of yet) has not really been exciting enough to match their music.
10. Can you give us some examples of their work?
Absolutely!
Howard Shore:
John Williams:
Hans Zimmer:
Now then, I'm supposed to tag/award ten bloggers. As usual, I'm bending the rules.
I nominate those of you who are wearing pajamas. If you aren't yet, then go get in them quick! If you've already change out of them, wait until you have to get back in them before you accept. :)
I'm also supposed to come up with ten genius questions to ask y'all. Yup, bending that one too.
Emmarayn's questions are perfect, so I'll just be passing them along. Here they are again, in case you want to copy and paste them instead of typing them out for yourself.
