Summer's Gone

Abigail has graciously tagged yours truly with

The esteemed rules:

1. Thank the blogger who tagged you, and give a link to their blog. Thanks Abigail!
2. Answer the questions.
3. Tag as many people as you want!

The questions:

1. How was your summer?

It was amazing!

2. What was a highlight for you?

Spending time with family.

3. What was the best thing you did?

Actually, the best is yet to come.

Some of us leave for Maui next week, and the rest of us (Dad, Christian, and I) will fly up (or, I should say, across) on the 16th! We arrive home on October 9th!

4. What was the worst thing about the summer?

It was so very hot. Wait, that's normal.

5. What was one of the craziest things you did this summer?

Hmmm...
Had to ask somebody what I did.
The results are:

"Well, you don't really do a lot of crazy stuff." "You screamed when you came upstairs." (Ava)
 "I have no idea." (Lydia)
"You caught a fish in Montana, and then dropped it before you got a picture." "You got your hook caught on a rock so your heroic brother had to wade out and get it." "You screamed." (Christian)

6. What books were you reading?

*Thinks* Good gravy! I don't think I can remember all of them, but anyways:

Gulliver's Travels, The Brainy Bunch, Veiled Rose, Fairest, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, A Wrinkle in Time, The Shunning, The Confession, A Tale of Two Cities, and parts of The Silmarillion, The Reckoning, and How Should We Then Live.

I should have read more...

7. Are you going to school, or staying at home?

I'm doing the bulk of my school at home, but Speech and Debate is with a homeschool group one day a week.

8. Are you excited about school?

Yes!

Surprise, Chloe actually missed seeing some people every week.

9. What was a highlight of last year's school year?

Besides the learning bit, probably growing closer to my classmates from the year before last, and making friends with the new arrivals.

10. Are you looking forward to fall weather, and winter?

Absolutely! I love cold weather! I really miss wearing jeans and hoodies.

Also, when the weather decides to get cooler, I can resume riding with my neighbor!

Ohh! And Christmas too!

The Tag-ees, should they choose to accept:

And,

If you don't want to do the tag, that's completely fine.

If you really really really want to do the tag, but were not tagged, I'll allow you to commandeer it.

If you want to do the tag, but do not have a blog to do it on, I'd love to read your answers in the comments, or, better yet, you could make a blog and send me the link so I could read your answers!
