The Baby is Six!

I can't believe it!

This little girl,

...is one whole hand, plus a finger!
I can't believe it!
My little sister is growing up on me.

Mom and Dad took Mia out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning, around 8. They still have not returned.

Christian and Ava worked very hard to decorate in a few areas. Then Lydia took everyone except me to Dollar General to purchase a few gifts/cards, while I held down the fort.

This evening, we are going to watch The Voyage of The Dawn Treader, one that none of us have seen yet. *cue horrified screams* But, we have seen the first two...*ducks as a box of turkish delight flies through the air* It's not as is we haven't wanted to see it. *dodges Reepicheep's sword* I am excited to see it, and am ecstatic that they are making The Silver Chair.... *screams subside* Thank you.

The card that I worked so hard to make:
Ok, it wasn't that hard to make. I did have to search high and low to find a scroll in Google images that would work with me. And I did have to copy over the words after I printed it, because somebody *glares at printer* couldn't make it clear enough for a newly-turned six-year-old to read.

They've got a whole slew of Dwarvish/Elvish fonts HERE

Happy birthday, dear heart.

    1. Thanks!

It was ok. It didn't really follow the book as much as I would have liked, but it flowed nicely. I'd probably watch it again, but "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" is still my favorite out of the three they've made so far.

I agree. "The Horse and His Boy" is probably my favorite, but it's been a while since I've read any of the books.
