The Ride Back

I announced that we were home, but I didn't say how we got back. We flew (obviously) out of the tiny Great Falls airport (five gates, one store, one restaurant, one escalator going up, one going down, impossible to get lost) in a very small plane (it could seat about 40 people). It was only about an hour and a half flight, and very bumpy. I've decided I don't like small planes. Getting off the plane in Denver, I forgot that the ceiling over the seats was not very high, so when I stood up, I banged my head, really loudly, on it. I heard a few "oohs"'s. Finding out that our second flight was delayed by an hour and a half, we settled down for our almost three hour layover. It was nice. We got to have dinner and a snack, and watch an I Love Lucy. I also got the internet to work, so I read a few blogposts. The second plane was beyond nice. I've flown a lot, and not all the planes I've been on have a bunch of legroom. This plane had a bunch of legroo...

Home Sweet Home

Ok, so we didn't actually arrive home until about 12:15-20am, so technically we travelled home over the course of two days, but anyways. We're home, and there was a surprise for us. Somehow, while we were gone, Mom managed (with a great deal of help) to re-arrange the entire upstairs, paint a room, and get somebody to add a wall so we could have a total of five bedrooms upstairs. I know. I'm still in shock. And this was all with a sick kid, and Lydia working for a great portion of the day out of the house. I thought I was going to be asleep by now, but I'm way to hyped up and excited. I have my own room back! There's still a lot to do, I have a bunch of stuff to go though, I have laundry to do, I have a bathroom to clean, I have a closet to organize... Yeah. Oh! I just remembered, I have a tag to do as well. So. Many. Things. To. Do. O.o ~Chloe

I'm Sleepy

July 27, 2015, Still Monday Everything was closed. *cue The Park Is Closed from Jurassic World *  Ok, not everything , just all the museums we wanted to go to. It would seem that everybody else decided it was a good day to stay in bed and snuggle down inside their covers whilst reading a good book home. We drove around for a bit, and stopped for lunch at Subway, because we couldn’t find a Chickfila , before arriving back at the house around 4:15ish. At least it was a nice day for a drive, we got to see a lot of pretty country. Before our little excursion, we parked outside the library so that some of us, ok, I, could catch up on email a bit, Post a blogpost, and so that I could send dad the pic of his fish. I think I had around 20 emails, not including my junk inbox, which had five emails in it.  Thing is, I have like, three different email accounts that I check on a regular basis, so not all of them came in at once. So, at first, I thought I only had eight...

It Continues

July 24, 2015, Friday Being able to check email two days in a row is really a blessing, even if it’s just for about two minutes. We picked up dad today. July 26, 2015, Sunday I crawled out of bed around 8 this morning to a hot pancake breakfast, before heading out to church at 9:30. It was a good service on the whole book of 2 John. Yesterday we went to the pond again. After a morning in the sun, with no luck, I went to lie down across the back row of seats in the truck. Three hours later… “What? It’s time to go already?” “Yeah, it’s almost 6, we need to go back for dinner.” *nods sleepily* “Great, lemme sit so there’s room for Christian. Ow, I’ve got a splitting headache!” “Well, you haven’t had much water at all today, and a rolled up sweatshirt doesn’t always make the best pillow.” “Touché.” We left to go to the lake around lunch time. Funny thing, Christian is eating like crazy, but almost every day, I’ve not been hungry enough to eat lunch. Been starving by dinner, but...

To Get Y'all Up To Speed...

Good news first: the library is within walking distance! We are several days into the trip now, and what are we doing? Eating, sleeping, and fishing. That’s about it. There is so much to tell, but I don’t think it will be all in order. Oh well. Never mind that I am way way way behind in my reading for school (I should have finished Gulliver’s Travels by now). I can’t remember the last time I checked my email, though, it will be checked as soon as I get to wifi, and probably before this gets posted. 23 emails later… Let’s go back in time to the day we arrived, Sunday, I believe it was. We arrived in Augusta, Montana, tired and hungry. But after dinner, we felt ready to try out a lake several miles out of town. Just don’t tell anyone that my license didn’t go into effect until the next day. We didn’t catch anything.  On Monday, we met up with a friend of Grampa’s and went fishing at a couple of lakes. I think Christian may have caught something, Grampa caught a...

Today Is The Day

Well, we are going to be arriving at our final destination this afternoon, so I must say farewell, see y'all soon! ~Chloe

The Voices Are Back!

It's awesome when your characters start talking to you again, but it's slightly annoying when it's after midnight, and you can't see anything to write on, so when you do eventually write it down (in the dark, cause, you know, wouldn't want to wake myself up any more than I already was), it looks like a five-year-old's handwriting. So, yes, my June QQ is coming back to me. Yay! We are now in Billings Montana, and will, Lord willing, reach our destination tomorrow. To celebrate, Christian and I asked mom and dad if we could rent The Battle of The Five Armies . They said yes! Now, I have to deal with Adobe Flashplayer not working. Last night, The Desolation of Smaug was showing on TV. Did we watch it? Yes. *nods* Yes, of course. And why shouldn't we? I'll not even mention the fact that we missed the first third, but oh well. It was only the second time for both of us to see it. We have a blueray dvd, but we only have one blueray player (in the liv...
