Texas Weather

Me: "Texas! What are you doing? It's supposed to be spring."

Texas: "I'm just putting all of winter in one week, don't you understand, I'm trying to make you suffer less!"

Me: "It's not working. The roads are terrible. If you don't melt all this snow, I won't be able to get where I need to go."

Texas: "I do what I want."

Me: "Pretty please?"

Texas: "I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request; and the physical appearance of the please does nothing to sway me."

Me: "Oh come on! I have things to do and places to be."

Texas: "Too bad, you'll just have to wait until I clear up the roads."

Me: "And when will that be?"

Texas: "...."

Me: "You hesitated."

Texas: "Aren't you happy that you might not have to go to your school co-op today?"

Me: "That would be a bonus, but, you still have not answered my question."

Texas: "You know, they got a whole lot more snow down where you need to be than there is here. Oh, and by the way, I let the sun come out after a week of clouds."

Me: "Well, I'm glad for the sun, but when are the roads going to be clear?"

Texas: "We'll see, later. I bet all the public-schoolers are enjoying all the snow days I'm giving them."

Me: "Yeah, but homeschoolers don't get snow days."

Texas: "Too bad. But, if you don't go to your school meet, that means you get a snow day."

Me: "Not necessarily. I still have some work to do.Why is it, that every time we put away our snow clothes, and everything else melts, it snows again?"

Texas: "Murphy's law, people. Good grief."

And here we see an interesting phenomenon

Although the snow and ice has been very pretty this year, I'm ready for spring, or, more specifically, summer. What about y'all?

Usually, I don't really mind winter, but right now I'm ready for it to go away;)

  2. Just so you know, your "Introducing Me" page in the menu bar basically is doing nothing but also working as a "Home" button. Is it just me?

    1. Ahhh! Thanks! It must have done something while I was experimenting earlier. I'll try and fix that.
