A Day In The Life Explained by GIFs- plus a few other tags / / / / (posting two days in a row, what's this?)

Image
Or just embellished. Whatever floats your boat. Anyways, one day (a very long time ago, I am so sorry)  Marrok  tagged me and I spent half of forever gathering up the gifs and shoving it to the backburner. At first, I put it off because classes hadn't started yet, ergo it would be a very boring post. Then I sort of forgot about it for a few weeks because I was getting back to the grind of classes. Then I was emotionally out of whack (boy, job hunting can get tough, especially when nobody seems to need you. At least now I have my phone number memorized from filling out so many applications). Then I got a job and was just trying to tread water and keep everything in order and make sure all the deadlines were met  and  get enough sleep so I wouldn't be crabby. *tries to find a crab gif so I can pun* *can't* *settles for penguins* Then my classes ended and my job situation changed. And then classes started again, and we left for vacation. And now her...

Answering y'all's questions

A little over a week ago, I had trouble falling asleep (it was 1:30 when I posted the blogpost, but I didn't fall asleep until around 3:30 in the morning. Talk about the timezone messing up one's body clock O.o) and decided to ask y'all to ask me questions. So now that I'm relatively back to normal, schedule-wise (yesterday was a doozy!), I'm going to answer the questions. Jonathan : O.O Wow that's like really brave though normally when people do something like this I normally say something like 'ARE YOU A UNICORN' XP *cracks up* Why yes, I'd love to go around stabbing things with my forehead. XD Lover of Lembas : What was the first book you ever read that really changed you? Probably the Bible. What candy bar would you be if you were one? *thinks* I haven't actually had that many candy bars in my life, so let's go with dark chocolate. If you could choose, would you rather be the eldest, youngest, or middle-est sibling of...

To infinity, and beyond!

Image
In which, once again, Chloe is tagged. :D I've done the infinity dreams tag/award before ( HERE ), in fact,  Abigail   tagged me that time as well.  Am I going to do it? Of course! New questions are always fun to answer, besides, I already basically said I was going to do it, but I digress. The Rules: 1. Thank the blogger who tagged you. 2. Tell us 11 facts about yourself. 3. Answer the 11 questions given to you. 4. Tag 11 bloggers and give them 11 new questions to answer. The Facts: 1. I've only been out of the US once. 2. I'm choosing to only focus on two writing projects right now. 3. I've been stung by a scorpion four times in two minutes (not counting a different time when I got stung once). 4. I've never gotten poison ivy, or chicken pox (neither of which are related in any form or fashion). 5. One time, Lydia and I decided to play 'hair salon'. With scissors. I was the victim. 6. I am constantly tweaking the recipe I use...

Catching up

Warning: this is going to be an incredibly long post, so you may want to come back to it later. *cracks knuckles* Alright, let's do this! Tags: On January 21st,  Mary  tagged me for the Blogging About Blogs tag. The Rules: 1. Thank the person who tagged you. (thanks dearie!) 2. Answer the questions. 3. Tag some blogging friends. The Questions: 1) Blog that makes me laugh: Cait  at  Paper Fury  has a hilarious blog. I almost always end up making rather unladylike snorts whilst trying to keep the giggles at bay.  Also,  Treskie  at  Occasional Randomness ,   Jack  at  However improbable , and  Writefury  always manage to brighten my day when I'm feeling down. 2) Blog that makes me think: Just one? Are you kidding me? No way, I'm so bending this rule (I'll probably end up bending all of them) Kara  at  Coffee With Kara ,  Amanda  at  Scattered Journal Pages ,  Christin...

12 Days of Thanksgiving Tag

In the midst of: preparing and stressing for our first Speech and Debate Tournament, freaking out at the fact that there's only a week and a half of NaNoWriMo and I've not even hit 10K words yet, plotting the prequel of said writing project, and somehow drinking 21 eight-ounce cups of tea in one day (I usually only drink three, but one time I had 15, so I was trying to break my record and have 18, but then I decided to keep going), S.F.  tagged me for the *racks brain trying to remember* 12 Days of Thanksgiving Tag! Thanks dearie! The rules: 1. List 12 things that you are grateful for 2. Tag as many bloggers as you want, making sure to tell them of their nomination. 12 things I am grateful for (mostly in order of importance): 1. Our Father in Heaven 2. My family and church family 3. The Speech and Debate community we are involved in 4. The humor of said community 5. A roof over my head, with a nice view attached 6. Tea (though I may not ...

The Bookshelf Tag

Image
Ok, so a while ago  Mironiel Blokzyl  made a bookshelf tag, and tagged anyone who wanted to do it, so, naturally, I stole it  decided to do it. :) But, seeing as how I was on vacation when she posted it, and away from most of my precious books, I had to wait until I returned. Anyways, I'm positive the only rules are to answer the questions, and tag people. Let the tag commence! 1) How do you rearrange your bookshelf? There was a time when I didn't even have my own shelf, I shared with Lydia, so she did the organizing. Then, I got a huge tall bookshelf, that was rather wobbly. I thing I filled about half of it, and used the other half for desk storage, since I didn't (and still don't) have a desk. I moved rooms a couple of times, and now I have a different bookshelf (that is still huge). I had a faze where I wanted everything by series and height. Now it's just what looks nice and interesting. When I get more books, I may try to organize by color. 2) ...

The Bedtime Movie Tag

Image
I love watching movies, so when  Laura  tagged me for the (see title), I was super excited! Thanks Laura! :) Ok, first order of business, the questions: 1. A movie that kept you up. (I'm assuming the question means all night) The night before leaving for Maui, Christian and I vowed to stay awake all night (we had to leave at 3 in the morning anyways). Because we didn't think Dad would let us watch a movie at 11 at night, we asked if we could watch Herbie.  He said yes. So we watched that, then some I Love Lucy 's. 2. A movie that made you scared to sleep. note: this was well before I ever watched LotR, The Hobbit, PotC, and Les Mis. I just barely made it though watching An American Tail . Yeah, an animated movie freaked me out so bad. 3.  A movie that made you go to sleep. I can't recall any particularly... When I go my wisdom teeth out, I watched halfway though the extended editions of LotR, and was rather drowsy, but I was well medi...
