I have felt many feelings today

If any of y'all follow me on  Goodreads , then you'll have noticed that I've been reading a particular series by Liz Curtis Higgs. The first three books, Thorn in my heart, Fair is the rose, and  Whence came a prince , are a retelling of "Jacob and Esau" and "Leah and Rachel". I am positive that a certain character, who shall remain unnamed due to spoilers or the fact that I'll not have his name sullying my blog,  has no heart, whatsoever. *angry yells* The feelings I felt reading those three books are as follows: Aww, poor big brother! *narrows eyes at little brother* You had no right... Ack! I didn't mean for you to threaten to kill him! *reproofs big brother* Run little brother! Oh come on! Give a guy a break already. Finally, he's at his destination! Something's not right about you...*squints at unnamed character* I don't like the way you think. Oh good! A wedding! I love weddings, drinks all 'round! What!?...

Oh my goodness! It's been way too long since I've done a game! Just because a brainwave came in, how many people here follow me by email, but not through the Google Friend connect widget-thingy? I'm just curious. I know, I know, curiosity killed the cat, but technically, ignorance killed the cat, and curiosity was framed. Where was I? Ah, yes. Movie Quotes. *peruses Pinterest in search of quotes* 1. "Po-ta-toes. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew." 2. "Look! An un-dead monkey!" 3. The Never-ending Night of No Sleep

September 15th, 2015 Our flight is at 6:00 am tomorrow. 6 am ! Which means, we have to be at the airport by 4:30 at the latest, it's an hour away, so we have to leave at 3:30, which means we have to get up at 2:30. Kinda makes you wonder if four hours of sleep is worth it. It usually isn't. Especially since you can always sleep on the plane. It's about a 3 hour flight to LA, we'll arrive just in time for breakfast. Then, it's about a five hour flight to our final destination. There is a five-hour time difference from us to Maui, they are five hours behind us. e.g. if it's 10 am here, it's 5 am there. My math for the day: if I woke up at 8 today, I leave at 6 am tomorrow, I don't go to bed until 8pm Maui time (1am our time), that means I'll have stayed awake for about 41 hours. And, I don't plan on drinking any coffee or soda. I may regret my decision later, but I want to see if I can do it. September 16th 2015 Aunt Cend...

Too Bad 'Sweet' Isn't In Front of 17

Happy birthday to me It's a party of three Everyone else is in Maui So now it's just us three Today I turn seventeen. That sentence has been staring me in the face for the past few weeks. I feel like a deer stuck in the middle of the road watching a semi barrel down the highway at full speed. "What on earth! I'm not old enough to be seventeen yet! I still like to color (stress reliever, ok?), play with my model horses, and pretend that mom is still taller than me."  It's been a great year though. Mom, the littles (Ava, Gabe, Mia), and Lydia are all in Maui. A little bird told me they'd celebrate on the beach for me. We (Dad, Christian, and I) will be meeting them in a few days. Oh wait, that's like, in four days...I gotta pack soon! One of the traditions we have for birthdays is, Mom and Dad will take the lucky person out for breakfast. Seeing as how Mom wouldn't be here, they came and asked me if I would rather have breakfa...

Should I?

One night, my brain simply refused to let me sleep, and brought up this fact: I'm not as shy as I once was. And, my blog does not reflect how shy I still am. I mean, I can attempt to actually talk to people I know in a public setting, which was not possible a year or two ago. Granted, I still prefer a good book to a party, but my point is, I'm getting more talkative(ish). Which brings me to the conclusion that a blog name-change is in order. I don't really feel  like changing it, but I sort-of want to. I know, that doesn't really make any sense, whatsoever. So, basically, I'm asking y'all if I should change the name, and for name suggestions. Based on what I sound like when I write, what should the name be? I've thought about "Rustling Thoughts" or "Pages From A Bookworm", but what do y'all think? ~Chloe
