April Quote Queste: The Truth

Image
This is the  Quote Queste for April ! The rules are found  HERE . If you would like to participate, then go for it, don't be shy! This month's prompt: "A truth spoken before its time is dangerous." -Greek proverb My story this month: The Truth “A truth spoken before its time is dangerous.” The words of my father rang in my ears. “The Prosecution would like to call miss Natria Levyic to the stand.” I shivered as I stood and headed towards the front of the courtroom.  "What is your name?" "Natria Levyic." I answered. It seemed odd that the attorney would ask my name after just announcing it. “Would you be so kind as to tell us what happened on the night in question?” The prosecuting attorney asked me, almost kindly. I said nothing; after all, I did have the right to remain silent, did I not? “Could you share with us what happened?” Silence. “Miss, if you choose not to speak, the truth will not be revealed. Now, if you

Oh, look at that... I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by Olivia, over at  Meanwhile, in Rivendell . As this is the first time I have ever been tagged, I should like to accept. The rules (because, you know, you can't have a game without them): 1. Paste the button onto your blogpost. 2. Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list you answered) and tag a few people of your random choice  (and say why you tagged them, if you have time!) (Be original and nonsensical in your own question-creativity - make the blogging world a cheerful place :-) And be disastrously random.) Now for the fun... 3. Write down three facts about you - one of them is WRONG. Let your commenters guess in the comments which one is wrong (and tell them in the comments after a while).  4. Answer the questions of the person who tagged you - make it all super random and interesting :-D So those are the rules! Let's start off with the three things about me. 1. I hate bacon. 2. I get carsick

Well, I promised. So one day it was all wet and rainy, and Lydia wanted to make a youtube video of her running around acting sad. (Note: She was laughing and complaining of the cold rain down her back the whole time, while I huddled under a huge umbrella trying to get good shots and keep my camera dry.) By the way, wet jean cuffs are the must comfortable things in the world. Not. I don't have the video up yet, because I haven't exactly gone through and edited all the footage yet. But it should be up in a few days. So, there you have it! ~Chloe

Meet My Family!

Image
They're rocks. No, no, just kidding. I've posted a few times, and now I think that it's high time you met my family. I'm doing this partly so that you know who I'm referring to if I say one of their names, and partly just because. Ok, you probably saw a picture of some people on the beach in my  "Introducing Me" page . That's them! From the back anyway. If you counted the people in the picture, you would end with a final count of eight. There's a Mom and a Dad, and six kids. See, not that big, when you think about it. Mom and Dad. How do I describe them? Hard workers, both of them. They both teach us at home, and Dad has a full time job on the side (he has his own business and works from home). Both of them are extremely creative. Dad is, because it is part of his job. Mom is because that is the way she is. She's an awesome cook, really creative there. Dad is also the founder of UGS- Unrealistic Goal Setters (Lydia and Mom's Mom a
